Chat Bubbles

Chat bubbles are floating buttons that sit in a corner of the screen. When clicked, they open a scroll box or pop-up form — making them ideal for multi-step opt-ins, quick surveys, or support prompts.

Structure

A chat bubble widget has two parts:

  1. Floating action button — the persistent bubble that appears on screen. See Floating Action Button for customization details.
  2. Main form (Offer) — the content that appears when the visitor clicks the bubble.

Behavior

Chat bubbles follow a specific interaction pattern:

  • Click the bubble — opens the main form.
  • Close without submitting — the form minimizes back to the floating button so the visitor can return to it later.
  • Submit the form — the floating button disappears (the task is complete).

Display Rules are automatically configured for click-triggered behavior — the main form only opens when the visitor interacts with the bubble.
