Widget Types

Popup offers five widget types, each designed for a different purpose and placement. Choose the type that best fits your message and how you want visitors to interact with it.

Pop-up

A pop-up appears in a layer above your page content, with or without a background overlay.

Best for:

  • Important announcements or offers that visitors are unlikely to miss
  • Content that needs space for multiple elements — background images, text boxes, multiple form fields
  • High-visibility calls to action

Scroll Box

A scroll box appears at the side of the screen, above your content.

Best for:

  • Attracting attention without overlapping the main content
  • Complex vertical content that needs more room than a bar but less intrusion than a full pop-up

Floating Bar

A thin bar that sticks to the top or bottom of the screen.

Best for:

  • Brief messages that cover minimal screen space
  • Cookie notifications, announcements, or simple calls to action
  • Persistent reminders that stay visible as visitors scroll

Welcome Screen

A full-screen overlay that covers the entire browser window.

Best for:

  • Ensuring visitors cannot miss critical information
  • Accommodating diverse content — text, images, forms, and more
  • High-impact first impressions or gated entry points

Inline

An inline widget is inserted directly into your page content — in the body, footer, header, or anywhere else you choose.

  • Content that should never overlap or obstruct the page
  • Flexible positioning anywhere within your page layout
  • Seamless integration with your existing page design
