Note: Integrations must be set up by a Toolkit admin. To connect any of the integrations below, contact support and let us know which integration you'd like added to your account.

Sendy Integration

Connect Popup with Sendy to add subscribers and manage custom fields from your widget submissions, with optional GDPR consent support.

Getting Your Credentials

You need three pieces of information from Sendy:

API Key

1. Log in to your Sendy installation
2. Go to Settings
3. Copy your API Key

List ID

1. In Sendy, go to View all lists
2. Find the list you want to use and copy its List ID

Resource URL

Your Resource URL is the base URL of your Sendy installation (e.g., https://your-sendy-domain.com).

Connecting Sendy to Popup

1. In your Popup dashboard, go to your site's Integrations settings
2. Select Sendy from the list
3. Enter your API Key, List ID, and Resource URL
4. Save the connection

Configuring Your Widget

Once connected, open your widget editor and configure the submit actions.

Available Actions

• Add subscriber -- add the visitor as a subscriber to the configured list
• Update custom field -- set or update a custom field value on the subscriber

Custom Field Mapping

Map your Popup widget fields to Sendy custom fields by matching the field names. The field name in your Popup widget must match the custom field name in Sendy.

GDPR Consent Support

If you are using Sendy version 3.0.7 or later, you can add GDPR consent handling:

1. Add an agreement checkbox field to your Popup widget
2. Set the field variable name to gdpr
3. When a subscriber checks the box and submits, the GDPR consent flag will be passed to Sendy
