Before You Start

Connect your CRM or email marketing platform and establish the segments and tags you want to assign based on quiz or survey outcomes. Having these ready before you build the widget keeps the setup smooth.

Creating the Widget

1. Go to Widgets and click Create Widget.
2. Choose a quiz or survey template from the Template Library, or start with a Blank Canvas.
3. Each tab across the top of the editor represents a screen in your quiz. Visitors move through them in sequence.

Building Question Flows

• Add screens by clicking the plus button next to the existing tabs.
• Rename tabs to something logical (e.g., "Q1 — Budget", "Q2 — Timeline", "Result A") so the flow is easy to follow at a glance.
• Duplicate a screen via the three-dot menu on the tab — useful when questions share a similar layout.

Arrange screens in the order visitors will see them. Each screen can contain text, images, buttons, and form fields.

Setting Up Actions

Button actions control where visitors go next and what data gets written to your CRM.

1. Select a button and open Button Actions.
2. Under On Submit Action, click Add Action.
3. Available actions include:

• Direct to another screen — send the visitor to a specific tab based on their answer.
• Add to CRM segment or tag — write a segment or tag to the visitor's CRM record so you can follow up based on their path through the quiz.

Combine multiple actions on a single button. For example, one button can tag the visitor and advance them to a results screen.

Form Integration

Drag Form Fields from the Elements panel onto any screen. Common fields include:

• Name and Email — collect contact info on the first or last screen.
• Custom fields — capture answers that map directly to your CRM's custom field structure.

Place the email field on whichever screen makes sense for your flow. Some quizzes collect it up front; others save it for the final step after the visitor is invested.

Activation

1. Set your Display Rules to control when and where the quiz appears (page URL, timing, device, etc.).
2. Toggle Activate to make the widget live.

Test the full flow yourself before activating — walk through every path to confirm each button routes to the correct screen and writes the expected tags.
