Platformly Integration

Connect Popup with Platformly to manage users, tags, segments, custom fields, and trigger events from your widget submissions.

Getting Your API Key

1. Log in to your Platformly account
2. Go to Profile > API Docs & Keys
3. Copy your API key

Connecting Platformly to Popup

1. In your Popup dashboard, go to your site's Integrations settings
2. Select Platformly from the list
3. Paste your API key and save

Integration Settings

After connecting, configure these options:

• Default project -- select the Platformly project that contacts will be added to
• Default tags -- optionally assign tags to all new contacts
• Default segments -- optionally assign segments to all new contacts

Auto Field Mapping

Popup automatically maps your widget form fields to matching Platformly contact fields. If a field name matches a Platformly field, the mapping is set up for you.

Configuring Your Widget

Once connected, open your widget editor and configure the submit actions.

Available Actions

• Create user -- add the visitor as a new user in Platformly
• Add tag -- apply a tag to the user
• Remove tag -- remove a tag from the user
• Add to segment -- add the user to a specific segment
• Remove from segment -- remove the user from a segment
• Add note -- attach a note to the user record
• Update custom field -- set or update a custom field value
• Fire event -- trigger a Platformly event for the user (useful for automation workflows)

Display Rules with Funnel Position

Use Display Rules to target visitors based on their position in your Platformly funnel. Show or hide widgets based on tags, segments, or other contact attributes to deliver the right message at the right stage.
