Widget Settings for Mobile

Adjust how your widget looks and behaves on mobile devices. Click the mobile icon in the widget editor toolbar to switch to the mobile editing view.

Mobile-Specific Options

When editing in mobile mode, you can override several settings independently from the desktop version:

  • Placement — reposition the widget for smaller screens (e.g., switch a side scroll box to bottom-center).
  • Animation type — choose a different entrance animation that works better on mobile.
  • Background image — swap in a different background image optimized for portrait orientation.
  • Mobile aspect ratio — for banners, set a different aspect ratio so the banner fits mobile screens without awkward cropping.

Changes made in mobile mode only affect the mobile display. Desktop settings remain unchanged.

Disabling Images and Videos on Mobile

Large images or videos that look great on desktop can slow down mobile load times or break the layout.

To hide an image or video on mobile:

  1. Select the image or video element in the editor.
  2. Open Settings for that element.
  3. Toggle Hide on Mobile to on.

The element will still appear on desktop but will be completely hidden on mobile devices.
