Note: Integrations must be set up by a Toolkit admin. To connect any of the integrations below, contact support and let us know which integration you'd like added to your account.

Kit (ConvertKit) Integration

Connect Popup with Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to add subscribers, manage tags, enroll in sequences, and update custom fields from your popups and forms.

Connecting Kit

1. In your Kit account, go to Account Settings.
2. Click Show next to your API Key and API Secret.
3. Copy both values.
4. In your Popup dashboard, go to the Integrations tab.
5. Find Kit (ConvertKit) and click Connect.
6. Paste your API Key and API Secret, then save.

Available Actions

When configuring a widget's submit button (On Submit Actions), the following Kit actions are available:

• Add subscriber -- Add a new subscriber to your Kit account.
• Add to form -- Subscribe the contact to a specific Kit form.
• Add to sequence -- Enroll the subscriber in a specific email sequence.
• Add tag -- Apply a tag to the subscriber.
• Remove tag -- Remove a tag from the subscriber.
• Update custom field -- Set a custom field value for the subscriber.

Display Rules -- Targeting Kit Subscribers

Use Display Rules to show or hide widgets based on Kit subscriber data:

• Target visitors by their tags, sequences, or forms.
• Show different widgets to existing Kit subscribers vs. new visitors.

Visitor Identification

To identify returning visitors from Kit emails, append the subscriber's email to links in your Kit broadcasts:

When a subscriber clicks this link, Popup recognizes them and can apply Kit-based display rules.
