Banners
Banners are graphic image and text combinations that display inline with your page content. The entire banner is clickable, making them ideal for promotions, announcements, and call-to-action placements.
---
Creating a Banner
- Go to Widgets and click Create Widget.
- Open the Template Library and navigate to the Banners section.
- Hover over a template and click Create Banner.
You can also start from a Blank Canvas and build your banner from scratch.

Customization
Image and Layout
Banners can be image-based (a single graphic) or a custom combination of text, images, and buttons.
Set the Aspect Ratio using the presets to control the banner's proportions. You can also set a mobile-specific aspect ratio so the banner adapts well to smaller screens.
Background Layers
Banners support a three-layer background stack:
- Image — the primary background image.
- Color — a solid background color behind or instead of the image.
- Overlay image — a second image layered on top of the background (useful for badges, watermarks, or decorative elements).
---
Click Actions
Since the entire banner is clickable, configure the action in Widget Settings:
- Open Widget Settings.
- Under On Click Actions, add a URL.
- Optionally enable Open in new tab so the visitor's current page stays open.
---
Embedding the Banner
Banners are inline widgets — they appear within the page content rather than as overlays.
- Open Display Rules.
- Use Place the Widget to embed the banner at a specific location in your page.
Position the banner where it will have the most impact — between content sections, in a sidebar, or at the end of an article.
