How to set up a custom domain for your website?

You can link your website to a custom domain of your choice instead of using the default Apps web address. This ensures a fully branded experience for visitors who access your website.

Step 1: Go to the “Website” screen in the app builder

• From the app dashboard, click on Website in the side menu

• This section allows you to configure and manage your website’s hosting and domain

Step 2: Enter your domain details

• Add your main domain (e.g., yoursite.com)

• Enter a subdomain (e.g., www.yoursite.com) that you want your website to use

• Click Save to proceed

Step 3: Verify ownership

• Log in to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare)

• Create a CNAME record with these details:

• Host/Name: the subdomain you’ve entered (e.g., www)

• Value/Target: the destination provided in your dashboard

• TTL: set to Auto

• Proxy status: set to “DNS only” if you're using Cloudflare

Step 4: Verify the domain

• Return to the website screen in the app builder

• Click Verify to confirm domain ownership

Step 5: Activate the domain

• Once verification is successful, click Activate

• Your website will now be accessible on the custom domain you linked
