SimpleBot — Zapier Integration

Overview

Robot integrates with Zapier, letting you push bot conversation data into thousands of apps — CRMs, email tools, project management software, and more.

Important: Integrations work exclusively with Flow Builder-based bots. Standalone AI Mode does not trigger integrations. If you want AI-powered conversations and Zapier integration, use AI within a Flow Builder bot by adding an AI Block as a step in your flow.

When Data Is Sent to Zapier

Data is transmitted to Zapier when any of these events occur during a conversation:

1. An email address is collected — when the visitor provides their email (unless a Save Data or AI block is also present in the flow)
2. A "Save Data" block is hit — when the conversation reaches a Save Data block you've placed in the flow
3. An AI Block timer completes — when an AI block finishes its interaction window

Setting Up Data Flow

For Basic Bots

If your flow is straightforward (collecting name, phone, email, etc.), make sure the email collection step comes after your other data gathering blocks. This way, when the email block triggers the integration, all previously collected data is included in the payload sent to Zapier.

For Complex Flows

For flows with multiple branches or where you need data pushed at specific points:

1. Insert a "Save Data" block after gathering the information you want to send
2. This pushes all collected data up to that point to Zapier immediately
3. You can place multiple Save Data blocks throughout a flow to send data at different stages

AI Within Flow Builder

You can use AI responses within a Flow Builder bot — the AI handles the conversation while the flow structure ensures integrations fire correctly. However, running a bot in standalone AI Mode (without any flow) will not trigger Zapier or any other integration.
