Distribution is one of six groups in the Fundamentals pillar. Each course in this group builds on the one before it.

Creating content is only half the equation. Distribution is where that content actually reaches people. This group covers the major publishing channels available to you and helps you choose the ones that match your strengths, your audience's habits, and your business model.

You do not need to be on every platform. You need to be excellent on two or three. Distribution teaches you how each channel works, what it demands in terms of time and skill, and how to evaluate honestly whether it deserves a place in your strategy. Then you go deep on the ones you choose and build real traction instead of spreading thin.

What You'll Learn

  • Video -- Understand video as a distribution channel and business tool. You will learn the fundamentals of video content for YouTube, social platforms, and your own site. Equipment basics, editing workflows, format selection for different purposes, and the publishing rhythm that builds a subscriber base over time.
  • Blogging -- Build a blog that drives organic search traffic and establishes your authority in your market. You will learn SEO-aware writing, content structure that ranks, internal linking strategy, and the publishing practices that turn a blog from a hobby into a long-term customer acquisition engine.
  • Social Media -- Develop a social media approach that generates measurable business results, not just likes and followers. Platform selection based on where your audience actually spends time, content adaptation for each format, engagement strategy, and the discipline to use social as a tool rather than a time sink.
  • Podcasting -- Launch and sustain a podcast that reaches your target audience and builds deep trust. Recording setup, episode structure and formats, guest booking systems, distribution to all major platforms, and the promotion strategy that grows listenership beyond your existing network.
  • Newsletters -- Build a newsletter that people look forward to opening every time it arrives. Format decisions, frequency, content mix, subscriber growth tactics, and the relationship-building approach that makes newsletters one of the highest-ROI channels available to any business.
  • Book and Ebook Publishing -- Use long-form publishing to establish deep authority and create a powerful lead generation asset. You will learn the process of writing, formatting, and distributing a book or ebook that serves as both a credibility marker and a top-of-funnel tool that works for years.

By the End of This Group

  • Two to three publishing channels selected, fully set up, and producing content on a consistent schedule
  • A distribution strategy that matches each content type to the channels where it will perform best
  • Working knowledge of all six major distribution channels so you can add new ones strategically as capacity grows
  • At least one long-form asset -- book, ebook, or comprehensive guide -- in progress or complete and published
