Config

6 courses · part of Framework (Build)

Config is one of six pods in the Framework pillar. Each course in this pod builds on the one before it.

You have your platforms selected and your identity defined. Config is where you connect the pieces into a working system. This pod is entirely hands-on: you will configure your primary tools, connect third-party services, set up payment processing, and make sure data flows where it needs to go.

Most entrepreneurs skip proper configuration and then spend months fighting tools that almost work. The time you invest here saves multiples of that time downstream. A well-configured system runs quietly in the background while you focus on growth. A poorly configured one interrupts you daily with broken automations, missed notifications, and manual workarounds.

What You'll Learn

  • Platform Setup -- Configure your primary platform from the ground up. Settings, permissions, user roles, default pages, and administrative preferences all get dialed in properly. The goal is a solid foundation that does not need to be re-done later when you realize a setting was wrong.
  • Third-Party Connections -- Connect the external services your business depends on. Social media accounts, Google Business Profile, directory listings, and marketplace integrations all get linked, verified, and tested. Each connection is confirmed working before you move on.
  • Payment Processing -- Set up your payment infrastructure end to end. Stripe, PayPal, or your chosen processor gets configured, connected to your platform, and tested with a real transaction. You will not launch without knowing that money can actually flow into your account.
  • Email Service Provider -- Connect and configure your email system for reliable delivery. List setup, sending domain authentication with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, a welcome sequence, and deliverability verification all happen in this course. Emails that land in spam are emails that do not exist.
  • Analytics -- Install and configure your analytics stack so you are measuring what matters. You will set up tracking for the metrics relevant to your stage, build a simple dashboard you will actually check, and establish a weekly review habit that keeps you data-informed.
  • Automation Wiring -- Connect the automated workflows that eliminate repetitive manual tasks. New lead notifications, purchase confirmations, onboarding sequences, and follow-up triggers all get built and tested so the system handles routine work without your involvement.

By the End of This Pod

  • A fully configured platform with every setting, permission, and preference locked in and documented
  • Payment processing live, tested, and confirmed with a real transaction through the complete flow
  • Email system authenticated and deliverable, with at least one automated welcome sequence running
  • An analytics dashboard tracking the three to five metrics that matter most at your current stage
