How to Grant Google Search Console and Analytics Access
How to grant Google Search Console and Analytics access
Some Agency work (technical SEO reviews, conversion tracking setup) needs access to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4) accounts. You never need to share your Google login for this. Instead, add us as a user directly inside each tool.
Google Search Console
- Go to search.google.com/search-console and select your property.
- Open Settings > Users and permissions.
- Click Add user, enter
support@directorytoolkit.com, and set permission to Full.
Google Analytics (GA4)
- Go to analytics.google.com and open your property.
- Open Admin > Property Access Management.
- Click the + button, add
support@directorytoolkit.com, and set the role to Editor.
Editor access on GA4 is needed whenever the work includes setting up new conversion events, not just reviewing the ones that already exist. If the work is review-only, Viewer is enough. Ask if you're not sure which one applies.
No passwords change hands on either tool. Once access is granted, let us know and we'll take it from there.
