Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open DirectoryCustomize. It shows whether your site is connected, how many widgets you have installed, and gives you quick links to everything else.

Connection Status
At the top of the Dashboard, you'll see a status banner:
Connected — Your site is paired and everything is working.
Offline — The connection is temporarily unavailable. Your widgets still work, but you can't change settings until it reconnects.
Not configured — Your site hasn't been set up yet. See First-Time Setup below.
The connection status also shows as a small pill in the plugin header, visible from any tab.

Stat Cards
Four clickable cards give you a quick snapshot:

| Available Updates | How many widgets have newer versions ready | Updates |
| Projects | Your active projects in progress | My Account |
| Invoices | Your invoice history | My Account |
Click any card to jump directly to that tab.

First-Time Setup
The first time you open DirectoryCustomize, you'll see a setup wizard that walks you through connecting your site. This is a one-time process — once connected, you won't see it again.
The wizard validates your BD API key and pairs your site with DirectoryCustomize automatically. If you need to reconnect later, go to the Settings tab.
