Understanding the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open the DirectoryCustomize plugin. It gives you a quick overview of your account and site status at a glance.

Connection Status
At the top of the screen, a colored dot shows whether the plugin is connected to DirectoryCustomize services:
Green — Connected, all data is live.
Red — Offline, data may be stale or unavailable. Try refreshing the page. If it persists, contact support.

Stat Cards
Four cards show your key account numbers:
| Card | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Widgets Installed | How many widgets from your purchases are currently live on this site |
| Updates Available | How many installed widgets have a newer version ready |
| Active Projects | Work currently in progress on your site |
| Open Invoices | Unpaid invoices on your account |
Clicking any card takes you directly to the relevant tab (My Widgets or My Account).

Recent Activity
Below the stat cards, the Recent Activity feed shows your latest purchases, installs, and widget updates. It updates automatically — no refresh needed.

Quick Links
The Dashboard includes shortcuts to the most common actions:
- View Projects — opens your project management portal
- View Account — opens your billing and account portal
- Get Support — go directly to the Support tab

Tip: The Dashboard is read-only — you can't make changes here. Head to My Widgets to configure a widget, or Browse Catalog to add a new one.
